This new hymn, commissioned by Tim Huffman for the 125th anniversary of his church, features a text written by American poet Jennifer Knoblock. It will be premiered in 2016. I have written an SATB setting of verse 3, and a descant for verse 4 for liturgical use. I will also be writing a full concertato setting of the hymn later this year.
