It has long been a dream of mine to revisit the texts of well-known Christmas carols and give them completely new treatments. This set re-explores the texts of “Angels we have heard on high,” “Silent night,” and “Joy to the world” with no reference to the the tunes which we have grown up with. These three settings utilize unaccompanied voices in a variety of ways.
