Lullaby (baritone, cello, piano, 1995) This work for baritone and cello, with piano accompaniment, was inspired by the Bobby McFerrin/Yo-Yo Ma album Hush.

My father’s watch (baritone, piano, string quartet, 2008) Using the text by Chicago poet, David Gecic, this piece explores the weight of emotions that come from a family heirloom.

The child in me (tenor, piano, 2008; tenor, string quartet, 2013) A song cycle of short children’s poems by David Gecic. These poems embrace a nostalgia for childhood past.

Fear not, I have redeemed you (mezzo-soprano, baritone, piano, 2015) Commissioned by Tim Huffman, on the occasion of his daughter’s confirmation, this piece sets words from Isaiah 43 and includes the hymn tune Foundation.
